Injection Molded Plastic Optics

Injection molding is a highly efficient method for mass-producing plastic lenses with complex geometries and high precision. It involves melting plastic resin and injecting it under pressure into a mold, where it cools and solidifies into the desired lens shape. This process allows for the creation of lenses with various features like aspheric surfaces, freeform surfaces, and diffractive structures. These are used in critical applications in the automotive, defense, security systems and other commercial applications. Here is a peak at our injection molding facility:

Colored Filters & IR Optics

We mold optics in various colours including red, blue, and IR plastics. These are used in critical applications like security systems.

Aspheric Imaging & TIR Lenses

These lenses feature deep aspheric surfaces with higher order coefficients. They are critical for highprecision imaging applications. TIR Lenses are used in LED Optics.

Galilean Telescope with Light

This fully plastic system includes BBAR coated achromatic doublets. Over 25,000 units have been sold since 2009.
