Injection molding is a highly efficient method for mass-producing plastic lenses with complex geometries and high precision. It involves melting plastic resin and injecting it under pressure into a mold, where it cools and solidifies into the desired lens shape. This process allows for the creation of lenses with various features like aspheric surfaces, freeform surfaces, and diffractive structures.
